Get your hair layered up to your shoulders, and cut your bangs shorter than the rest of your hair, like up to your ears. Let it cover half of your face, it totally looks emo.

realize that emo kids look retarded and shave some trihawks into it. If you are having problems like your parents stopping you from doing things, maybe you should focus on your school work more and your hair less. The whole point of dying your hair is BECAUSE your parents dont want you to, but i guess emo and scene kids are known for being babies . . . .
cut it really short and make sure your hair is to the side practically covering one of your eyes
Well emo means BLACK!!! so if ur hair is not already that color than die it that color..
and if u really want the emo look than grow long shaggy hair and let it hang over ur eyes...face etc. and get a Crazy layered hair cut that will do it for u!! :)

Go to a good alternative hairdresser and ask for an emo cut ... the hairdresser can analyze your hair and give you the best cut. As for 'color' if you want to add some, you can go to any 'beauty supply' store and buy cans of 'spray on' color that will wash right out ... it comes in virtually every color known (including 'acid green' and 'bright magenta') and your mom should be able to 'accept that' far more easily than getting your hair 'dyed' ... besides which, you can get several cans of spray, and can 'change your colors' every day if you want ...
get it cut emo (you probably have already) with a side fringe, find a picture of someone with good emo hair that you like. short at the back and long sidey at the front is typical emo hair (i think)
If you want to stick within natural colors get your fringe died blonde, but what color is your hair already? Get your fringe died another natural color if your mum won't let you otherwise.
Different color fringes on emo cuts look more emo, well to me.

Dyeing your hair un-natural colors is fun and addicive. My natural hair color is light brown, But I have had more colors then anything. I have had all shades of Blond, Quite a few shades of Blue, Red, Green, and black. Manic Panic is the BEST.

I think it's ridiculous to say that a Black person with colored contacts is ashamed of thier race. Green eyes happen to run on my mothers side of the family, so to me, it's perfectly normal to see Blacks with light eyes and hair. Actually, in many areas it's quite common. I have to add that people who've never seen this must live where there are few Blacks. We truly come in all colors.

I associate bleached Blond haired Black people with being ghetto. With contacts added....that makes it worse. Most Black people who try this look don't pull it off well at all and end up looking stupid.
When someone has hair and eyes like that there is an increased chance that this person MIGHT be a self hater but not necessarily in all cases.

It looks unnatural to me, I never seen a Black person look right with them.Why can't we just accept our hair, skin, and eyes as they are instead of believing that white traits such as straight hair, blonde hair, blue eyes, and light skin are better than out African features. Ugh, blue eyes are so overrated to me...I'm fine with my bright BROWN eyes that god gave me.

I think blue eyes look gorgeous on dark skinned people. I don't know about blonde hair. Maybe blonde or light streaks in dark hair would be a better option, to avoid terrible regrowth and hair damage.
Some blacks do have natural blue and green eyes. And others have sandy blond hair (this depends on their color). No it does not make them ashame. They want to try something new. White people wear different color contacts too and so do many other races.
I know what you mean. I'm so tired of hearing darker skinned and featured latinos and blacks complaining about lighter skinned latins and blacks being chosen over them and how they don't "appreciate their indigenous/african" roots and all that bologna.
I knew a kid in high school who was Puerto Rican/Jamaican who had curly blonde hair (naturally) and green eyes with yellow/caramel skin. At a sales auction, I seen a Mexican guy with natural red hair and tanned skin. I myself, being mixed, have light skin, brown hair and hazel eyes. Its nothing to be ashamed of.
If a black woman wants to put weaves in her hair, relax it, dye it blonde/red/brown, that's her perogative. It doesn't make her want to be "white". Most of them are still proud of their african heritage, even more so. Same thing with many light skinned and caucasian hispanics in general. People need to get over the whole anger towards the "eurocentric" society and hating on people with light skin and features because that's just as racist as if it were to be against someone with darker skin and black hair/eyes.

I think you just need to get rid of the contacts all together and accept your eyes the way they are. Be proud of yourself, don't cover them up. Glorify them.
a black person having blue contacts doesn't necessarily mean that they have self esteem issues. you really have to take it on a person by person basis. personally i think that there are definitely a lot of black people out there who are trying too hard to be something other than what they are. i'm not a fan of black people dying their hair or getting weave so that they can have long blond hair. i think people should be more comfortable with who they are and what they have. making unneccessary changes to yourself whether they're permanent or not doesn't make sense to me. but that doesn't just apply to black people, it applies to all people of all races, ethnicities, and cultural backgrounds. i don't think people should continue to allow mainstream society and media portrayals decide how they should feel about themselves. but a lot of people do it subconsciously.
as for the people that have that eye color naturally there's nothing wrong with that. they can't control that so i don't see something like that as them betraying their race.
As another girl mentioned, it just looks unnatural and kind of creepy to see a black person with blonde hair and blue eyes. It would be the same thing if I saw an Asian girl with blonde hair---it would look like they're trying to assimilate to what America's standard of beauty is which is blonde hair and blue eyes.
Yes, I do think they're betraying ethnic heritage. Blue and green eyes that are natural, that is fine. But color contacts or blonde/red hair dye for any ethnic group other than Caucasian is not natural features and it does betray their race. Whether or not they're trying to look Caucasian, they're immulating Caucasian features. But I could care less about race so it doesn't matter to me.
Judging on outer appearance is what causes the discrimination/trouble in the first place. Moral character should be determined by behavior not looks.
As for people wearing contacts, I think it comes down to individuality. A person represents his or herself, rather than an entire race. Everyone has their own idea of what is attractive.

use a temporary dye like natural instincts...go for a copper color because it's already a reddish-orange color and its very very pretty.
who are you going to? that does a lot to your hair if they don't know what they are doing! do not go to a cosmetology school, go to a professional after 24 hours!

A salon is best for this sort of problem. Try a light brown color with honey highlights.
Go try the blonde if you can or black hair with blue eyes is cool.

If your hair turned orange its because you either
A. Didn't use the right shade of dye
B. Your hair was too dark for that dye
C. You hair is really dark and you did not use bleach first.

if it was bleach you need to leave it in loner .... my hair was black and i dyed it blonde and i left it in till i didnt see any changes then deepley condition your hair for 20 mins
i had to bleach it 2 times with maxy blonde bleaching kit and it only took 2 times for me to be platnum

HAHA! Not gonna happen sweet heart. The only good products are proffesional products. Now I noticed you said "black hair." Is your hair naturally black or is it dyed black. If it is dyed black GOOD LUCK! If it is naturally black, get a blue powdered bleach and 20 Volume developer. However, I do NOT recommend you try and attempt this. You are treading in dangerous waters.
well. a solon would be the best idea. maybe try something from herbal esence. they have good bleach.

Why isn't going to a salon an option.. at least for the bleaching part. It is very very tricky to do at home and you will either end up with orange hair (and if you put blue on that it will go a gross muddy shade) or if you do get it light enough you hair will most likely melt off! Some salons offer a charge per foil. Call around and I bet if you just want one chunk in the front you could find a deal for about $5-$15. Don't try this yourself I beg of you!

ur hair sounds really pretty and ur eyes are too but if u are really unhappy with ur eyes there are contacts without any perscription in them to make ur eyes different colors u could try those :0)

It's not really "extentions" that I'm looking for... I already have really long hair, but what I'm looking for is thick strands of 'clip-on' hair that is colored in pink or blue... It only needs to be one solid chunk of hair... does this make sense? lol, anyhow, I've looked at stores such as claire's %26amp; Icing.. but no luck...
