Natural/non-toxic hair dyes?

i'm looking for natural , non-toxic hair dyes that stay in hair for 30 or so washings (preferably blue or green colored). i have dark brown hair and was wondering if i should bleack my hiar before dying it. also, should i as a hiar dresser ot do it for me? or shoujld i do it at home??? anyone have any suggestions, hints, personal experiance??? websites directing me to brand companies would be great, or even just a brand name. thank in advance!

Check out your local health food store, for hair dyes and rinses. Also you may be able to find some on line. Once you do find what you are looking for it is always better to let a professional do it. You might have a better chance of finding exactly what you are looking for if you speak to your hairdresser 1st.

Hot topic or Sally's has the best colored hair dyes that don't stay in your hair for too long.. but if you bleach your hair and you want to dye it blue or green its gonna stay much longer than 30 days.. mine stayed blue for like 3 months and never faded... and colored hair dye doesn't come off you or your clothes as easy as regular hair dye so be careful if you do it at home.
