I have blue eyes with fair skin. My hair is all one color.dark brown.long. blonde hair drownds me out and looks bad on me. but im sick of just dark brown hair. can anyone give me some good ideas?? i like the dark hair against my face but maybe some highlights somewhere or somethin?? i duno give me ideas i already googled it and found nothing

I think you should get some highlights and lowlights if dark brown looks good on you!!! So get some light brown highlights and warm auburn lowlights, they'll look PERFECT %26lt;3

If blonde makes you look washed out definitly keep a darker color around your face. Talk to your stylist about doing some highlights of various tones throughout the prosterior section of your hair, it will lighten it up but not make you look so washed out. You could even go with a darker blonde, but lighter than your natural color with some deminsional highlights to create a lighter effect aswell.

If you want to go all out, go with black and either red or cranberry, but stay away from the copper if you go with black.

jealous! i love that colour combination u are lucky! i wouldnt change dark hair is beautiful, but maybe if u dont want to go darker u could just go a few shades lighter.

a friend of mine has the same colouring as you and she used to dye her hair and kind of reddish brown, but the red was only very subtle. this would be good if u just want something interesting! :)

I felt exactly the same. I have dark brown hair %26amp; dark brown eyes and I wanted light brown highlights in, but each time I wash it it gets lighter. Now its orangey golden brown and I hate it, because it makes my hair look black in comparision. Even at the hairdressers they use peroxide, so I wouldn't spoil your lovely dark hair. I think u shud try wash in wash out colours first- colour pulse 4 example so u can decide which colour u like best. Also if u want golden brown highlights put lemon juice on ur hair as well as chamomile tea (rinse off the chamomile tea tho) and stay out in the sun 4 about an hour or so. Do this at least once a week, but make sure u use dry and damaged shampoo, as it will get a little bit dry, since lemon's acid. Henna's also good, as this is natural and I don't think it contains peroxide. Think carefully about dying ur hair and I'd advice getting a shade only 2- perhaps 3 lighter or darker then ur natural colour.

get some honey brown and reddish brown highlights. Multi tonal colour looks hot !!! You will look very fired up and sexy :P
